KR Series details

The KR MEYER sorter is also designed for operation in cold-storage facilities and at temperatures below freezing, enabling the sorting of frozen products. By overcoming the limitations of conventional color sorters, the MEYER KR significantly reduces the need for manual re-sorting and makes a major contribution to improving product quality.

AI deep-learning system: Equipped with Ultra HD cameras and high-performance multi-core processors, the system analyzes color and shape in parallel. This significantly increases detection accuracy and boosts processing speed by up to four times, ensuring reliable detection of contaminants and product defects.
Slow-running conveyor belt & intelligent air-ejection system: Optimized belt speed and innovative ejection angles minimize mixing of accepted and rejected material. This ensures consistent product flow, clean discharge, and minimal product damage—ideal for light and delicate products.
Precise rejection technology: Thanks to exact positioning and highly dynamic maglev ejectors, contaminants are removed with pinpoint accuracy—at up to 1,200 ejections per second.

Maglev Ejectors®

Developed, manufactured, and patented by MEYER, Maglev® 3.0 ejectors deliver exceptionally fast response times and precise ejection. With their non-contact (levitating) design, Maglev® ejectors operate at a high frequency exceeding 1200 Hz. The millisecond-level opening and closing of the flaps significantly reduce material losses. The standardized design and fully automated production ensure longer service life and easier maintenance of the device.

Innovative Vision Systems

MEYER machines are equipped with high-resolution cameras, enabling the identification of material characteristics based on multiple aspects such as color, shape, density, and type of material. The minimum recognition range can reach as small as 0.0004 mm². MEYER sorters feature a multispectral identification system, including visible light, infrared light, UV light, and X-RAY technology.
