K Series details

MEYER K Series is a single-layer optical color sorter designed for demanding food and agricultural processing, especially where tiny defects and “small target” contaminants must be removed reliably. With scalable models (60K5, 120K5, 240K5), it can be configured to match different capacity requirements while keeping sorting stable in complex scenes.

The UHD2.0 AI Deep Learning system combines ultra-high-definition imaging and multi-core processing, enabling parallel color + shape analysis and boosting processing speed/accuracy. Ultra-HD cameras (low-distortion optics, industrial four-color CCD sensors) support extremely fine identification, while targeted positioning (3D reconstruction) helps locate contamination precisely for clean rejection. High-frequency feeding improves material stability, and Maglev Ejector 3.0 provides ultra-fast, accurate ejection with low loss—supported by anti-shattering (soft landing) to protect fragile products.

Maglev Ejectors®

Developed, manufactured, and patented by MEYER, Maglev® 3.0 ejectors deliver exceptionally fast response times and precise ejection. With their non-contact (levitating) design, Maglev® ejectors operate at a high frequency exceeding 1200 Hz. The millisecond-level opening and closing of the flaps significantly reduce material losses. The standardized design and fully automated production ensure longer service life and easier maintenance of the device.

Innovative Vision Systems

MEYER machines are equipped with high-resolution cameras, enabling the identification of material characteristics based on multiple aspects such as color, shape, density, and type of material. The minimum recognition range can reach as small as 0.0004 mm². MEYER sorters feature a multispectral identification system, including visible light, infrared light, UV light, and X-RAY technology. By utilizing differences in material properties, the cameras in MEYER machines allow for the precise removal of defects and foreign objects.

Full Spectrum Lighting System
