CI Infrared Nuts Series details

The CI Infrared Nuts Series uses an advanced HD imaging system with CCD cameras and slow-shutter technology (50,000 scans/s), enabling detection of defects as small as 0.0025 mm². A high-speed ejection system (up to 1,200 ejections/s) separates shells from kernels, unripe nuts, and contaminants without damaging the product.

The MEYER CI Infrared Nuts Series (CI) sorter is a versatile, multi-purpose device designed for precise sorting of nuts, grains, and seeds. It handles a wide range of materials, with particularly high effectiveness for nuts such as pine nuts, pecans, pistachios, and other challenging products. The machine offers a broad range of configuration options across three models—120CI, 240CI, and 360CI—allowing its functionality to be precisely tailored to the capacity requirements of each production facility. The sorter effectively removes shells, damaged and shriveled kernels, moldy and discolored products, as well as foreign materials including sticks, stones, plastics, and glass. Thanks to its InGaAs composite infrared system and advanced detection technologies, the MEYER CI Infrared Nuts Series (CI) identifies density variations and differences in chemical composition that challenge traditional color sorters. This enables the critical separation of nut shells from kernels even when they have similar colors.

The millisecond-level opening and closing of the flaps significantly reduce material losses.
