Meyer Technology

Improve the quality of optical sorting with MEYER optical sorting technologies

AI Powered System

MEYER thoroughly researches AI technology to provide the best sorting solutions. Our devices ar equipped with deep learning AI systems, based on the analysis and integration of data features such as color and shape. By comparing materials with an extensive library of models, Meyer ensures precise classification even of the smallest defects at the level od 1-2 pixels.

Ultra high-speed HD Imaging System

The advanced inspection system scans material at a speed of 50,000 times per second, capturing its movement in slow motion—up to 1,000 times slower than in real time. The super slow-motion technology enables precise reconstruction of the material’s actual parameters, significantly enhancing sorting efficiency. The use of low-distortion lenses and an industrial-grade CCD sensor allows for the identification of objects as small as 0.0025 mm². This exceptional precision ensures unparalleled sorting accuracy, even for the smallest defects and impurities.

Maglev Ejectors®

Developed, manufactured, and patented by MEYER, Maglev® 3.0 ejectors deliver exceptionally fast response times and precise ejection. With their non-contact (levitating) design, Maglev® ejectors operate at a high frequency exceeding 1200 Hz. The millisecond-level opening and closing of the flaps significantly reduce material losses. The standardized design and fully automated production ensure longer service life and easier maintenance of the device.

Innovative Vision Systems

MEYER machines are equipped with high-resolution cameras, enabling the identification of material characteristics based on multiple aspects such as color, shape, density, and type of material. The minimum recognition range can reach as small as 0.0004 mm². MEYER sorters feature a multispectral identification system, including visible light, infrared light, UV light, and X-RAY technology. By utilizing differences in material properties, the cameras in MEYER machines allow for the precise removal of defects and foreign objects.

Full Spectrum Lighting System

The lighting, similar to natural daylight, reveals the true color of the material, allowing even the subtlest shades to be detected. The lighting in MEYER sorters, based on a full RGB range, is designed to precisely reveal the actual colors of materials. With the ability to adjust the background color, the system further enhances material feature detection depending on its specific properties. This solution enables more precise analysis and improves the efficiency of identifying defects and contaminants.

Remote control and service support

MEYER software enables remote control of devices and real-time monitoring of key machine parameters. Thanks to artificial intelligence-based technology, the system also offers remote machine start-up, backup creation, and intelligent status checks. The ability to remotely diagnose issues and manage machines from anywhere ensures convenience and efficiency in daily operation.

Sniper System

Utilizes advanced technology to detect contaminants in the material with high precision. Through three-dimensional reconstruction and a high-speed HD imaging system, it accurately locates the center of contamination. This data enables precise removal of defective units.

Simplified Interface

The control panel in MEYER devices is designed for maximum intuitiveness, making machine operation easy at any skill level. With a clear layout and user-friendly design, the system ensures convenience and operational efficiency. After proper training by the MEYER service team, operators can fully utilize the machine's capabilities while minimizing the time required for configuration and adjustments.
